Painting the background on these is addictive.

Wanting to stretch this to the biggest piece of arches watercolour paper i can get my hands on at the moment and with 99 gum leaves to paint, this is going to take me a while.

Ciao Sergig... No sheets of eucalyptus...si credo che capisco quello che vuoi dire... le forme delle foglie li desegnio a mano libero, poi uso MASKING FLUID prima che faccio il BACKGROUND con aquarelli.

Grazie moltissimo di venirmi a trovare, sei carino. I tuoi lavori IMPROVE ogni volta che ti vengo a trovare al tuo BLOG :)

Sandy... Thankyou so much. I hope to enter this one in the Blackheath Rhodo Show if all goes well. It's going to take me till November to finish it!

I'm so addicted to doing these!

I'm going to try and evoke the same luminosity of the one that you liked the most. There is something about that one isn't there?

We must catch up on Skype in the next few days...
