It is amazing how with one color and minimal brushstrokes you can convey so much. The drips, the strands of hairs and the tears all mingle in the vertical composition and contribute to express...at least to me...great sadness.; Monday, September 28, 2009

This is a really unusual format and you've made it work really well. I particularly like the lines of the hair coming down from the top left and across towards the lower right-hand side: freeform like watercolour, as though loosely combed by the hand and fingers.
