Hi PG,
I think they could all win awards. I applaud your diversity of styles and subject matter! Clearly, the latter is not for 'diversity's sake', for they all 'ring true' as sincerely painted and it is that 'intangible' which quickens a painting, bringing it to life, transforming painting into art (imo). All the best for the exhibition!!

Jade, L and Wayne, I thank you all for your kind words and well wishes. I am so overwhelmed by the support each of you show me time and time again. It truly is wonderful, in this regard I am a winner already and I can't ask for more than this - I am blessed.

Wow-5 out of 6 IN !!!
That is an astounding acheivment on its own...all the best with the show...I think this will be your year PG-a sale...5 works in in CASS, and a 6m roll of your favourite paper...WOW...where will you end???

Vesna, I was very happy with the results, so glad that 5 will be hung at the exhibition - the sale was the icing on the cake as i found out about 10 minutes after the pre-selection announcement.
The roll of paper on sale - 30% off, was just sweet! Motto - never pay retail!
I must make mention of the pad of 100 sheets Canson Montvale at $18 - i bought 2...just couldn't help myself. I can play and just have fun and to think - i used to tear my paper into thirds to get three paintings outta one sheet! Well some habits are never broken, truth be told i love that format!
I hope you are enjoying the holidays with the family – need a break? Fly on over, you’re always welcome!
